Intermediate Wheel w/ Independent time!

Class Description

Looking to explore and have some fun in a ceramic studio this summer? This intermediate course/open studio access will be the perfect opportunity for you! Bruce designed this course for folks that have previously taken classes at Wildfire Ceramic Studio or have equivalent experience in a ceramic studio. Students will have full access to the studio for independent work time outside of class.** Classes will meet once a week on Mondays for 9 weeks (skipping Fourth of July week) from 6-8pm starting June 19th. We’ll cover everything from refining beginner level techniques to intermediate instruction including demos on lidded forms, two part forms, surface treatments, plates, vases, and more! Students will be given a 25# bag of clay at start of class and additional clay will be available for purchase if needed. Students will also have access to studio tools, equipment, and glazes. All work will be loaded and fired by Wildfire members. ** Open studio hours will be 7 days a week from 12-10pm when other classes or events are not taking place. Access to wheels will be a first come first serve basis with 3 wheels available for reservation. Enrollment ends June 17th at midnight. Early Bird Special: Enroll before midnight on June 5th for $390! Enroll between June 7th- June 17th for $415. We have some funds available for financial assistance and a payment plan.
