Class Description
Curious about wheel throwing? This introductory course will cover the basics of wheel throwing in a fun, laid-back group setting! It meets once a week on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, and consists of 4 sessions over 4 weeks. No experience necessary! All materials and tools are provided by Wildfire. Ages: 18yrs+ The format: Week one- Centering and throwing cylinders Week two- Trimming, if time, open throw Week three- Throwing bowls Week four- open throwing All pieces will be glazed and fired by Wildfire. Glazing and decoration techniques are now taught just in our Continuing Wheel Throwing. We have some funds available for financial assistance. Please email us (wildfireceramicstudio@gmail.com) if you are interested! Please note, if there are not enough students enrolled by the Sunday night prior to the course start, we may need to postpone, consolidate with another course, or cancel. If so, this will be announced Monday morning prior to the course start date, and we will offer you a full refund or credit towards another course, whichever you prefer. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be emailed to wildfireceramicstudio@gmail.com. Refunds and credits are given according to the following cancellation request timelines: Prior to 1 month before course start date: Full refund 1 month to 2 weeks before course start date: 50% refund 2 weeks to 1 week before course start date: 50% credit No refunds or credits will be offered once enrollment deadline has passed. Some exceptions may be made depending on extraordinary circumstances. We will offer a full refund if we need to cancel or change the time/day of a course.
