Juror Statement : Molly Rivera 

​

While jurying the work for plasticity, I was looking for versatility of the medium. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in some of the forms and surfaces  represent a contemporary view of historical pottery and sculpture, while others elicit experimentation with materials that push the limits of what we think of as ceramics. Overall, plasticity represents a versatile collection of work that demonstrates the wide array of what clay can be.
