Wildfire Ceramic Studio Residency Information
Wildfire Ceramic Studio goal is to provide a professional and creative atmosphere and space for emerging artists to expand upon or create a body of work.
Studio space available:
worktable and shelving unit
10’ x 8’ studio space
Facilities:
1 Olympic 3031HE kiln: 42"x30"x33.5” 1 Small test kiln
1 Scroll Saw
1 Pressurized Abrasive Blaster
1 Bench Top Sandblaster
Gallery:
11’ x 13’
Resident responsibilities include:
5 hours a week of studio work hours that include but is not limited to gallery install and deinstall, first Friday clean up, and studio clean up. Residents are expected to work on their own studio practice a minimum of 20 hrs a week.
Opportunities
Wildfire Ceramic Studio has just launched it’s High School After School Art Classes, and hopes to provide each resident artists with teaching opportunities.
Resident artists also have the opportunity to have a solo exhibition at WCS’s gallery.
